Youth Group Reunion Date and Time

Okay so the Burleson COC Youth Group Reunion for the listed years is going to be Saturday September 27, 2008 at 12:00pm. Yes that is the same weekend of the 75th BCOC Anniversary celebration, but our time does not interfere with any of the activities for the occasion. We thought it would be a great ideal to do it the same weekend that way the ones that come to the reunion can also attend the 75th celebration if they so desire. Lunch will be provided at the reunion and we are working on a kid friendly location, almost have that nailed down. We will probably charge $5.00 per adult for the reunion to cover the cost of food, any money over the amount for the price of food will be donated to the Bob Fear Youth Group Scholarship fund. Now I need all addresses if you have not sent yours or any one that you know of in, please do so immediately and please spread the word amongst the people that you stay in touch with about this reunion. I will mail the invitations out the last week of August, so please get me that info.And last but certainly not least, please start e-mailing me some pictures of youth group moments. I am going to put together a slide show, but would like pictures from all the different years, not just the ones that I was in which is all I have pictures of right now. The Moment We Have All Been Waiting On....Pictures

So I couldn't resist. Here are some pictures from our days in the youth group. Getting It Out There...

Okay so here is the first post of the new Burleson Church of Christ youth group blog. I am going to make an attempt along with some close friends, to organize a Burleson CoC youth group reunion for the graduation years of 1992 through 2001. This attempt is based on that fact that I deeply miss the friends and relationships that I developed in the Burleson CoC youth group. I know I know we have all moved on, but that doesn't mean that we have to all lose touch as we have. We do it for high school classmates and I wasn't near as close to my classmates as I was to my youth group, so why not for the youth group. This attempt is also based on this scripture..."Let us not give up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
